Art Groff started Mountainside Excavators in 1999 as a sole proprietor and only employee. He hired employees and grew the business starting in 2000. Mountainside Excavators, Inc. was incorporated in 2005 and Art remains President. Our goal has always been and will always be: Customer Satisfaction.

We have extensive commercial experience with site work for housing developments. Along with housing development work, we have completed and continue to work on new construction projects for churches, banks and other industrial sites in the Central PA area.

Our residential experience includes work with new home construction and additions. We work with individual homeowners regarding water problems, property grading, and downspout projects. We have completed numerous housing/building demolitions, each one having their own unique characteristics involved in the demolition of the buildings.

In winter, we are able to help assist with the largest snowfalls. We have a fleet of equipment and trucks standing ready 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Whatever Nature brings down, we can help move and clear!
